Set on 20 acres just outside of Griffith NSW, Piccolo Family Farm is the establishment at the heart of the Piccolo family’s proud approaches to produce, culture, heritage, storytelling, and homegrown Riverina hospitality.
The fully functional farm uses sustainable farming practices across its citrus orchard, fruit, vegetable and herb plantations, and small vineyard. The farm directly supplies seasonal produce for the family’s restaurant, Limone Dining, championing the establishment’s “farm to fork” approach.
The picturesque grounds of Piccolo Family Farm are home to a trove of curiosities, buildings and structures constructed from reclaimed and recycled materials, and items of historical significance. This setting is the perfect environment for creative and artistic inspiration, and is now home to a variety of events that bring in leading national and international artists, including ‘A Day in the Orchard’ arts and music festival, various music events, creative workshops, theatre and spoken word events. ‘A Day in the Orchard’ festival has been expanded in 2022 to include ‘Speaking Place’ – a day of creative and makers workshops based around the concept of how we communicate and evoke a sense of Place in our craft. ‘Speaking Place’ workshops are facilitated by leading masters of various disciplines.
