Hi, I’m an artist and teacher living in the Riverina. I run workshops as well as complete commissions. My artwork is inspired in the landscape where I live, driven by a natural impulse to document its beauty and uniqueness through painting.
I seek to capture the distinctive forms and atmosphere of the Riverina, sharing my appreciation of its landscape with viewers. My practice is deeply process-driven; I primarily use the Alla Prima technique, embracing spontaneity and immediacy to guide each work.
The landscape in my paintings acts as a metaphor for the human condition—its complexity, resilience, and vulnerability. I hope the energy of my process is evident in the visible brushstrokes and layered, merging paint, evoking both the tactile presence of the land and the emotional resonance it inspires.
