I’m Gabbey, a visual artist living on Wamba Wamba and Perrepa Perrepa Country, in Deniliquin. I enjoy working with mixed mediums, mainly oil pastels. Recently, I held my first exhibition ‘A part, apart’ in collaboration with my brother. I have been making art to navigate my experience of living. The public display of my art resulted in the selling of several pieces, and has fuelled my ambition to continue creating. I illustrate places, things and creatures that have meaning to me.
