I am an artist who finds fulfilment in the exploration of colour, texture, and composition, using these elements to elevate the ordinary into beauty.
I pursued a career in Occupational Therapy before taking time to raise my three children. During this time, I changed my direction, finding fulfilment and purpose creating art using different mediums.
With a focus on painting, I work from photographs to transform portraits, landscapes, and nature scenes onto canvas, interpreting colour, texture, and composition in a playful way to capture the essence of each subject.
I love the strength and permanence of steel, crafting large metal sculptures from sheet metal and creating figurative pieces using scrap metal, ensuring that each creation stands as a unique and one-of-a-kind work of art.
Occasionally, I facilitate art workshops, where participants paint their own take-home masterpieces with guidance.
