I’m a Visual Artist telling stories from the Heart using local materials to weave stories of the world and my place within it. I divide my time between teaching and creating and my current work includes The Tiny Folk Travelling Show, a community co-creation project working with ceramics and sculpture; and an ongoing series of confessional artworks using mixed media cyanotypes in visual storytelling.
Working across ceramics, photography, digital media and cyanotypes, my arts practice gives voice to the unconscious and allows for self-reflection and emotional processing. Using metaphor and symbolism, my artworks are created instinctively through play and response and are then analysed and deconstructed into written companion stories.
