Benita Bensch is an Australian author, coach, and speaker. Her writing and work explore identity, transition, purpose, and visibility. At the centre of this is a focus on the creative life, storytelling, and the often invisible narratives that shape our sense of self.
Through her writing, workshops, and online offerings, Benita helps women reimagine and re-author their personal narratives. Her work is grounded in a commitment to illuminating and guiding women and mothers in rural and regional areas back to their inner truth. She believes that being seen begins with a deeper connection to who we truly are.
Benita is a certified Motherhood Studies Practitioner with over a decade of coaching experience. Her work draws on narrative therapy principles. Seen Again: Light on Matrescence is Benita’s second book, following The Art of Trying: An intimate account of my journey to conceive. She is a contributing author in issue 3 Anthologia: A Collection of Stories for Every Woman, issue 2 Anthologia: A Collection of Stories by Women and Matrescence: Becoming Mother.
Benita lives and farms near Moama, New South Wales, with her husband and four sons, where she finds joy in reading, learning, singing, walking, travel, and farm life.
