SUSTAINABLE PRACTICE

In addition to traditional art mediums, Em has knowledge and experience in paper making (using cellulose, protein & recycled fibres), botanic ink making, lake pigment making, eco printing and chlorophyll printing. She is passionate about working towards creating her own art materials from found and foraged materials around her and is constantly experimenting to refine her processes. She is also a talented digital artist. It is Em’s lifelong dream to get to the point in her art practice where she makes all of the art materials that she uses.

PAINTING PRACTICE

Em applies her fine art skills to canvas and paper with a lot of colour, shape, and texture play. She is inspired by the botanical world around her and loves to paint loose florals and abstract landscapes, which you can find in various retailers around the Riverina. She is constantly inspired by the skyline around Wagga Wagga since moving here from Melbourne in 2023.
