Established in 2015, Little Black Duck is proudly 100% Aboriginal-owned by multidisciplinary creative Ashleigh Pengelly.
Located on Wiradjuri Country, in the quaint village of Uranquinty, on the outskirts of Wagga Wagga, NSW. It was created as a way to share my love for creating and my culture with the world.
With Little Black Duck I create functional art that sparks meaningful conversations including hand-painted teapots, serving boards, candles evoking memories of Country, and wearable art.
As a self-taught artist and now business owner, Little Black Duck allows me to forge a new path—one that showcases the brilliance of First Nations women in business.
