My name is Beau Buckley and I am an artist, specialising in music composition and performance.
My greatest achievements are having produced two heavy metal albums (Maelstrom, and A Mechanical Sun), and having composed hundreds of classical songs, many of which I have released under free-to-use creative commons licence. I did this to both further my ability, and also to help other artists online. I have learnt to compose using hundreds of instruments, including strings, percussion, ethnic, woodwind, and brass.
I am very good at playing the electric guitar with a heavy emphasis on melodic heavy metal, which is my most practiced genre on the guitar. I am still learning. I’d love to one day have the chance to play every instrument I have ever composed with.
What’s next for me is producing my third melodic metal album, but this time I will be playing and recording all the guitar in the album. I have been looking at new software which I will use to compose the bass and drum tracks for my new album. The software is Toontrack’s ezdrummer, ezbass, and ezmix software. They are a step-up from the software I was using for my first and second album which is perfect because the quality will match the recorded real guitar that I play for the album. Because of the considerably low quality of my first two albums I did not promote them, I mostly just keep them close to my heart.
I consider all my previous work the gauntlet which has led me to here, where I am ready to compose, produce, perform and promote to the world. I am very excited to show everybody what I’m able to do, leading to a future in music where I can produce my own music, produce other’s music, teach guitar and composition, and perform for my local area.
I am very excited to work on and release my first demo album which I have composed, produced, and finally perform from start to finish.
