My name is Beau Buckley and I am an artist, specializing in music composition and performance.
My greatest achievements are having produced two heavy metal albums (Maelstrom, and A Mechanical Sun), and having composed hundreds of classical songs, many of which I have released under free-to-use creative commons license. I did this to both further my ability, and also to help other artists online. I have learnt to compose using hundreds of instruments, including strings, percussion, ethnic, woodwind, and brass.
For my CASP grant 2025, I proposed that I would create a demo album in the style of heavy metal. However, I ended up producing a Youtube channel for AI generated music I have been working on since 2025 in the styles of heavy metal, rap/hip-hop, dance/club, and instrumental soundscapes.
As of the 25 of February, I have 519 videos, with 21.3k views in the last 28 days.
Although I didn’t produce my demo, I am very pleased with what I was able to do as a recipient of the CASP 2025 grant.
