Tegan Bailey – Fine Artist

Tegan Bailey is a multidisciplinary artist specialising in acrylic painting, collage, printmaking, and mixed-media techniques. Her recent work delves deeply into themes of neurodiversity and personal identity, as showcased in her solo exhibition Rediscovering Self: The Layers of Late-Discovered Neurodiversity (2024) at the Wagga Wagga Art Gallery. This exhibition, alongside her 2024 showcases such as Animal Antics and Marking the Matrix at Unique State Art Space, underscores her dedication to community engagement and storytelling through art.

Tegan’s practice is profoundly shaped by her lived experience as an Autistic and ADHD artist, driving her exploration of memory, identity, and the human experience. Her recognition as a participant in the Regional Artist Development (RAD) Program at the Wagga Wagga Art Gallery highlights her growing influence and the support she has received within the regional arts community.

Complementing her artistic pursuits, Tegan is working towards a Master’s in Creative Arts Therapy at the MIECAT Institute, integrating her passion for creative expression with therapeutic practice. Her roles as an Arts Worker at The Art Factory and Gallery Assistant at Unique State Art Space reflect her dedication to fostering inclusive and meaningful art experiences for diverse communities.
